Why choose us

We’ve been providing practical and relevant qualifications designed from the industry perspective for over 40 years (The Securities Institute, FINSIA and Kaplan Professional). In addition, we were the first industry-specific provider in Australia and have since set the standard for online applied finance education in the country.

Learn from the best. Our applied finance qualifications are enriched by the experience and knowledge of an internal team of subject matter experts and academics, and a large pool of industry practitioners, many of whom hold senior positions at some of Australia’s leading banking and finance institutions.

You can sit exams from the comfort of your own home or office using online proctoring technology. This provides freedom and flexibility to already time-poor working professionals, while offering a comfortable and familiar place for you to perform at your best.

Our early access program is designed for those who want to make a confident start to a subject every study period. By securing your enrolment early, you can access your online subject room and learning resources up to four weeks before the study period commences. Assessments can also be viewed up to two weeks beforehand.

If you ever need to seek more clarification on assessments or discuss certain concepts in more detail, you can book a time to speak with your subject tutor on Zoom. To encourage a stronger sense of mutual support and collaboration in our student community, tutor-facilitated group study sessions are also held regularly.

To encourage as much interaction as possible between students and faculty, tutors frequently post in the discussion forum. This includes focus points from the week’s topics, as well as tips on study scheduling and how to approach assessment tasks.

To safeguard against any future price increases, you can lock in the price of your subject enrolment fees for the lifetime of your qualification.  Many eligible students use FEE-HELP, which is a Commonwealth Government loan to pay for part or all of their tuition fees. This means you don’t need to pay to study upfront.

Study all-year round. Have the freedom to schedule your timetable around important deadlines to accommodate your personal and work commitments with your own personalised study plan. Intakes commence every two months, ensuring you can keep up your study momentum when needed.
