Kaplan Professional’s Accredited Derivatives Adviser Level 2 subject introduces writing options focusing on strategies covering writing uncovered call options, writing put options and writing index options. It discusses strategies related to spread, and call and put options. The topic also covers synthetic strategies replicating risk and reward. Individuals must complete this subject within 12 weeks of the enrolment date.
Assessment for ADA2 is as follows:
Kaplan Professional’s exams are multiple-choice exams, where emphasis is placed on the application of knowledge.
Individuals must attempt your first exam within 12 weeks of their enrolment date.
Individuals are entitled to a first sit and two re-sits of an exam. To achieve an overall grade of ‘competent’ in the exam, individuals must achieve the nominated pass mark for each section in the exam. If individuals are deemed ‘not yet competent’ for a section, you are only required to attempt that section in the re-sit.

ADA Level 1 must be completed prior to enrolment into ADA Level 2.
Individuals are required to be aged 18 years or older to enrol in this subject.
Individuals who are in Australia on a student visa are unable to enrol in this subject. If you are in Australia on a visa and wish to enrol, you need to check that you are enrolling in accordance with the study conditions of your visa.
This subject requires you to read comprehensive learner workbooks, undertake independent research activities, and at times, engage in online forums and discussions. Furthermore, the delivery mode relies on the extensive use of written communication.
