What is Ontrack? Ontrack is a purpose-built platform designed to deliver innovative and empowering learning experiences. With an intuitive design and responsive interface accessible on multiple devices, the platform enables users to conveniently complete their learning anytime and anywhere. Ontrack allows the creation of individual or group learning profiles and multiple learning plans based on users’ roles and learning requirements. In addition, the platform enables users to create and maintain a centralised lifelong learning repository, as well as the ability to upload a record of external and face-to-face training. Ontrack also offers comprehensive reporting and tracking tools to manage ongoing learning, monitor progress, and provide insightful analytics at an individual or group level. How often is new learning content released in Ontrack? New learning content is released in Ontrack’s content libraries bi-monthly, on the 1st and 15th of each month. With more than 300 digital modules, videos and podcasts published annually, Ontrack’s engaging and diversified multimedia format appeals to a variety of individual learning styles. Can I create custom learning content in Ontrack for my employees? While we continue to expand content within the Ontrack platform, our dedicated and experienced team can also develop customised content across any industry and tailored to an organisation’s specific needs. In addition, organisations can also create and curate their own custom content to suit employee-specific needs with Ontrack’s in-built rapid content development tool, Originate. How do I sign up to Ontrack? Choose from 12-month content library subscriptions, courses and standalone modules across various topic areas. These can be viewed here. Simply click ‘Subscribe’ or ’Enrol’ and complete the online subscription form. The online subscription form allows you to select multiple content libraries, courses and standalone modules for multiple users, should you wish. When you sign up to Ontrack, you’ll receive a welcome email with your student number and instructions to set a password. To access the platform, visit ontrack.edu.au and log in using your student number and password. If you’re unable to locate your Ontrack welcome email (including in your spam or junk folders) and would like us to re-send it to you, please contact the Ontrack Support team at pdmail@kaplan.edu.au. Can I use my email address or my old Ontrack ‘INT’ number to log into Ontrack? No, you’ll need to log in using the new student number provided in your Ontrack welcome email. How do I find learning content in Ontrack? You can browse or search content libraries by keyword or using the advanced search filters available. Alternatively, you can click on a topic or sub-topic in your learning plan to display a list of content available for that topic or sub-topic area. To browse our available content libraries, courses and standalone modules, please click here. Can I upload external learning activities to Ontrack? Yes, you can enter external learning activities as ‘Supplementary Learning’. I am transitioning from the old Ontrack platform. Will my completion data be transferred? Yes, all your completion data will be transferred once you have been transitioned to the latest version of the Ontrack platform. This can take up to 48 hours after you have transitioned. What support is available in Ontrack? Various forms of support are available under the ‘Help’ icon in the Ontrack platform. These include detailed Support Guides to help you navigate the platform. Support Guides can be filtered by role (Learner, Supervisor or Account Administrator), and you can also search for a specific guide using keywords.
